Also I did have to clean part of her box because she has terrible aim anyways I cleaned it and it definitly didnt smell very good. It was pretty gross. What I am trying to figure out is when she poops I am next to the box and usually examining it about a foot away and it doesnt smell bad. But like I said I cleaned it and it was pretty nasty. When sherry was talking about bacterial overgrowth she made it seem like when she pooped I could smell something foul right then and there. Unless I am missing something?

I definitly only smelled it when it was a couple inches away from my face and poop doesnt smell like roses. I also remember reading that their poop also tends to be smellier because of detoxing. So I dont know. I weighed her she weights 1 pound 5 ounces. Thats 2 ounces up from almost a week ago. And she has great energy so thats good too.

I believe that, when Nei first switched over her poops smelled like a rodent that's been dead for a few days and it was strong. Today her poops are nice and firm and very little odor (that world's best cat letter helps a lot too, just scoop & flush).

I know you weren't. Ignoring it, there was a little going on with the possible intolerance to the chicken so I know how easy it is for that to have gone to the wayside. She should be able to eat small slices, to chunks she is a tummy with teeth. I'll tell you what I have George doing right now, he is 11 weeks old, I have him doing the soup recipe but with small chunks. He is getting a balanced meal each meal and still getting used to eating real food. I tried to move him along quickly but he was or having any of that so I had to bring it down a notch and keep the pieces small.. You can try doing that for a couple of meals to see how she does. Slices are easy to finger feed to, usually once you get them to taste whatever it is they have no issues. i believe you are right in thinking Sherry meant you would be able to smell them just being near the box, not just when you were scooping and your face was right there. Hehe

Okay, start by increasing her eggshell in that soup to about 3/4 tsp instead of 1/2. How easily is she eating the beef?

Okay, start by increasing her eggshell in that soup to about 3/4 tsp instead of 1/2. How easily is she eating the beef? She loves the beef. Before it was hard to get her to eat enough chicken. I documented 4 oz of chicken when I had her on it. Beef I have documented between 6 and 9 oz each day. Last night I tried the soupie recipe with no water and her bowl is gone. It looked like maybe she had a harder time eating it because there was some pieces of it in her water dish so u think I will be adding a little water to make it thinner for her.

This is most recent poop with an added egg shell. This is also the soupie with out any water added to it.

I honestly have never seen one that looked like that. It doesn't look unhealthy, but unclejoe is online. Let's see what he thinks.

Neither have I. All her other poops didnt look like that during the night. And when I let her out this motning man she was going insane and running everwhere with a puffy tail it was pretty funny.

Puffy tail, the alien got her all excited. It's so funny looking, all wrapped up and cocoon like. Heather, can you see this Poop?

I did change the beef from a blended steak to just a blended ground beef.

I don't see anyone else online now, that might be familiar with this particular kind of poo. I wouldn't worry about it, it doesn't look sickly but I sure would like someone to offer an explanation of why it looks so weird.

I also noticed that when I clean her dish out the fats from the beef cling to the dish so it makes it really slimy. I am wondering if its just an abundance of fats in that kind of meat.
