Hmm. Polecats are European. You may have a weasel. How big is it? It's not likely to take a cat or dog.

I persoanlly havnt seen it, but theres a makor drop in activity with the smaller animals around (someone said it was a pole cat but i dont personally know for sure) Maybe so? I think its around the side of a small cat? (like 2/3 the size of a normal ish cat from what im being told by neighbors and stuff) The reason i worry is because someones cat got 'attacked' by it (i dont really know if i believe it but it does have cuts/bites that are healing now) my animals are nice and big (even my cat) but we have bunnies in the yard and they disappeared this year... i saw them now i do its really sad

If the rabbits are being killed in your garden then it might be easy to identify it by have a 'stake out'. Do you have any other animal crazy people locally? Or even just set up a camera pointing out to your garden, and have a light left on. I'm sure after a few nights you will catch an image of it. Helping to identify it would help to know what to do next in terms of keeping it out of gardens or maybe it's not even a 'wild' animal as such, could be an escaped pet or zoo animal... Especially if you don't normally have this level of predation. It of course could be a number of wild animals that have had a bit of a population rise.
Most exciting things we see in our garden is a hedgehog and once we had a mamma duck and her babies.

I will try to (theres a lot of woods around my house and a lot of blind spots!)
Im not to sure if its in my yard anymore, as the only thing left are the super fast chipmonks and they have been clinging to the rocks lately.
I really hope its like a fox or something but i have no idea how they would get the squirrels (they are always in the trees btw) mmhh ah well ill keep my eyes open

George looks nice. In my opinion, if he was happy living with a family, I wouldn't have left him wild again. Mostly because you never know, of course if he was resisting domestication, by all means let him roam free! As long as he is happy and safe. But I would have definately have taken him to the vet before letting him go. Mange is serious and very unpleasant, and also can be passed on to other animals!! That's not cool :c
or if money was the issue, there are some DIY treatments for mange you can do cheaply at home.
