I rushed Clyde to the vet last night because he had blood in his poop and was vomiting. We did X-ray to see if there was a blockage. He's running a fever. Although we couldn't get his temperature. His nose was bright red. We decided I would bring him back in the morning because I didn't have any food for him. She gave me some amoxicillin in case he has an enteritis of some sort. Well today I woke up to his face being swollen. His nose and all around his eyes are swollen. Huge lump on his nose. I'm taking him back in an hour. Could be be allergic to amoxicillin. He ate last night and never vomited. He had another poop, it was soft and only had a little bit of blood this time.

That definitely sounds like some kind of reaction. The question is...to what? Figuring out allergic reactions (especially if they reoccur) is no fun (speaking from experience with Wilma).

He's staying at the vet for the day. Hopefully he gives them a sample and they check his poop. she told me to give him some Benadryl and by the time we got to the clinic the swelling went down by half. The only thing different is yesterday he got ground duck with chicken liver and heart.

His swelling Is all gone. The blood is pretty much gone. He just ate a huge piece of rabbit, so he's feeling better. It's been warm here, so I wonder if his food was a little off to cause this. Because both him and olive refused to eat the duck duck goose frozen food today. I think that is what caused it.

He wouldn't have had an allergic reaction to food being "off" or "bad". If it was indeed food related (it may not have), then I'd avoid that flavour. Have they had it before? It could have been ANYTHING new in his environment that triggered it.

I think he got bitten by a spider or something. He has two little scabs on his nose. It would explain everything. The vomiting, diarrhea, and swollen nose.

I was going to say, it sounds like a reaction to a bite from something. Poor guy. Hope that whatever got him is gone. Glad he is doing better.
