only 1 of my Waardies/deafies do the Pez head. Never did determine which of mine were Warrdies and which were just deaf.

Do ferrets actually lick you to show affection or because of the salt on your skin? Nala, Pixel and Lilith have all been groomers that loved giving kisses but Lilith especially seems to be fascinated with my dad and he says it's because of the salt/sweat on him.

There are a number of reasons for a ferret to lick, it may be what's on your skin (some ferrets like the taste of different soaps, lotions and such), for some they're grooming you, so you're being kissed. It may be the salt on his skin or some hormone that only they know. My falsing jills love to lay in my lap and they will clean each one of my fingers and shove them against their belly which then you're supposed to scratch their belly. If you remove your fingers they will grab them, groom them and return them to their proper place....if you remove them and don't return you may get a nasty bite and then you're hyper groomed and returned. I swear they use my fingers as meepers ciao

My ferret Rusty licks my hands/wrists quite a lot, even after I have washed (unscented soap) and dried my hands. He'll even just lick my hand to apologize for play biting me. My first ferret did that a lot too. *chomp* *sorry..lick...lick* *repeat*

I think I get true kisses from my Loki as he usually does it when I first get him out of the cage in the morning. Liam rarely licks and he does it primarily when he is initiating play. He will crawl under my pant leg and scratch at my leg. This is accompanied by chomps and licks.

My husband and I like to call the water snorkeling 'ottering'. Honestly, telling my husband getting a ferret would be like having a land otter (he loves otters) was what convinced him to let me get my boys.
