It's been so far so good with Rolo after getting his implant, but last night he vomitted a few times and brought up bile - I fed him a ton of ferret lax (all I had on hand) in case it was a hairball or something, and he wasn't lethargic at all so I figured he was mostly fine - I had to work today and he seemed fine this morning, and when I got home he was happy to see me as usual/wanted to be let out etc. and I could tell he'd pooped/peed as usual so not a blockage.
Just wondering if this is common of adrenal disease or could be another problem surfacing? Obviously if this continues to happen we will go see the vet, but he is due for another implant in about a months time so I will bring it up with her then if it doesn't reoccur.

It's not a common issue with adrenal but one of the afflictions that seem to accompany adrenal are stomach upsets like IBD/IBS, ulcers both throat/mouth and stomach ulcers. Adrenal is constantly stressing their system so often you're going to see symptoms that aren't directly related to the adrenal disease itself but are a reaction to having adrenal ...does that make sense? So, adrenal disease does not have stomach upset as symptom but it can cause enough stress on the body to cause another disease to manifest. ciao

If he really starts having upset tummy troubles I may (finally) switch him to completely pre made raw... as that is always our go-to when he is feeling ill. Any time he's turned his nose up at kibble when he's felt unwell, he will always reliably eat any pre made raw chicken/rabbit/duck/whatever I give him, so we have a good backup available. Luckily it seemed to be an isolated thing - except for when I had to work, I stayed home to keep an eye on him and her seems to be fine. I did give him some ferret lax (all I had on hand) to clean out his stomach contents and soothe him a bit, and he seemed ok after that. I'll mention it to the vet when we see her next month for his next implant, but as long as it doesn't happen again I'm not going to worry over it too much.
