Why does it have to be RUBBER?!?
My sister has the rubber batman phone case and it was on top of a dresser that the ferrets cannot get too. Note: I did not know it was even in the room or I would have removed it. We discovered it on the floor today with an ear missing. Apparently she set up a folding chair to do laundry on and left it there, so big ferret step stool to bad stuff. So Batman is missing an ear and I have started the protocol.
I'm terrified because this is rubber.
Everyone ate fine today. Rebel and Riot also ate .8 ozs and 1 oz respectively of slivers, no soup today, yay for that little triumph. They ate at 5:30, I noticed the ear at 7pm. Now I have to shove pumpkin and Vaseline down everyone's throat. If they pass it tonight, that's awesome, any signs of crashing and I'll be on the way to the emergency clinic.
I have a question. With Rebel's meds, how to I administer that while doing this? Should I give her the pred now before the Vaseline??
Thoughts, prayers, anything right now is welcome.

OMG!! You have all my sympathy and well wishes. We're on poopwatch 2015 here too! We had swaddled Kat in a t-shirt, that helped surprisingly much. If your crew is squirrelly maybe try it? I was able to get her stuff down solo with her all wrapped up, it's just nice to have a pair of hands. Someone clearly forgot to send out the memo to ferrets that it's too early in March for rubber nomming >.<
I don't know anything about the meds, but you've got thoughts, prayer, fingers and toes crossed!

Oh, no! I hope they are ok. Not to wish ill on your dog, but I hope it was one of your dogs. They would probably be fine chewing a tiny piece of rubber, right? My Leela is a rubber chewer too, so this is one of my biggest fear as well.
*Prayers*

Thank you guys!
I hope it was a dog too. I don't think it was though. The only two dogs that are in this room at night are my sister's chihuahua who won't even chew on a bone and my sister great dane, who would have eaten more than just the ear.

Okay five hours later and everyone has pooed orange. I think it's safe to say that no one has a blockage but I don't know.

Mine passed rubber after a liver and kidney meal. I alternated the pumpkin and vaseline only twice because my girl seemed nauseated, so i fed a liver and kidney meal----not for the purpose of moving rubber , but got a pleasant surprise.

Thanks. We are on a second protocol for Arbor as of right now. My oldies had all orange poops and Tubdra pooed orange as well. I gave him some more pumpkin just in case to help flush out his system.
Arbor pooed some dark small poos. Three of them that's why are running the protocol again. She is in quarantine, my bathtub, till she goes again. Her energy levels are good.
We realized at some point last night that someone (probably Arbor) chewed on a white phone cord. When I saw the poop, I thought it was bone pieces so I just tossed it. The rubber eating probsbly all happened around the same time. So I'm hoping the little piece may have been in that poop. I don't know who pooed it but at least that part is out.
I redid all the ferret proofing last night and finished this morning. So hopefully this won't happen again. When Arbor is out of quarantine I'm going to monitor the room for anything I missed.

Wow, blockage protocol for all 4, how miserable! Let's hope no one manages to top this. I'm so glad everything seems to be OK.
