Shiiva, my 6 y/o ball python. And the heart is much easier to see in person; in pics the lighting and reflections always make it harder to see. It IS faint, but there is a very distinct lighter spot on her head that is vaguely heart shaped. *don't listen to her Shiiva, I know you're not heart-less* (giggle)

well that star kinda looks like a gingerbread man. just saying. lol
It may end up stretching more and making it less and less of a star.
Isn't the star the main reason why there are so many Waardies nowadays. I think it was a white star they were trying to breed for though.

Really? I didn't know/think you could breed for specific shapes. Mocha isn't a waardie, but she is a Marshall.

Isn't the star the main reason why there are so many Waardies nowadays. I think it was a white star they were trying to breed for though. People like animals with high white markings, broader, rounder faces, and big, wide-set eyes. It's a pretty hard-wired biological response - those features remind us more of infants and they produce a stronger urge to protect and love. Also, people are attracted to unique "fancy" markings - that sells better, so that's what they breed for.
