So my Hare-today order should be coming in later today, and I need to get a meal plan ready. 2 ferrets : 1 male, 1 female. My switching log : holisticferret60.proboards.com/thread/16492/ferretbrahs-switching-journalHere is what I have: Chicken Hearts, 2 lbs 1 x Chicken Livers, 2 lbs 1 x Chicken Necks, 2 lbs 1 x Duck Hearts, 2 lbs 1 x Duck Livers, 2 lb 1 x Ground Chicken/Bones/Organs, Coarse Ground, 3 lb 1 x Ground Duck/Bones/Organs, 3 lb, Coarse Ground 1 x Ground Pheasant/Bone/Organs, 1 lb 1 x Ground Quail/Bones/Organs, 1 lb 1 x Ground Turkey/Bones/Organs, 3 lb, Coarse Ground 1 x Turkey Hearts, 2 lbs 1 x Turkey Livers, 2 lbs Also : Cornish game hens from the local grocery store if needed. (Missing giblets) Anyone have a menu plan for this food? And how much heart and liver should I be adding? These grinds have the organs in them, but obviously gives no guarantee that there is 'x' amount in each serving. Besides adding potential heart /liver to each meal at x amount , am I good with only doing liver as an organ? Since I have the grinds, which should have spleen, pancreas, brain etc mixed into it? How would I go about doing the portions per meal for 2 ferrets? Would I make containers with 8oz of the course grinded meat/organ/bone , 1oz liver, 1.5oz heart (2 hearts) ....and then divide everything by what I think their combined ounces meal would be ? (Say 4oz total, so 2oz each...and then twice a day for 4oz each) So I would effectively give them a portion of the grind, a portion of heart, then a portion of liver on a plate? please advise
