Most of you know Phaedra, either from the forum or the FB group. She is one of our Mentors and Admin and is a very valued member of the ferret community. She does rescue and breeding and she has been working hard for years to try to improve the genetic stock in Australia. She spends hours and hours of her time every day selflessly helping people on countless ferret groups. She helps ferrets all around the world, and how she needs OUR help. Her business has come down with a sudden and as yet undiagnosed illness. She has already lost nearly 1/4 of her ferrets in a 48 hour window and more are very sick. Her and her vets are working around the clock to stop this and the bills are massive and are piling up FAST. If anyone has ever needed help it is now. Please, donate whatever you can afford - every little bit helps!!!! You may think you have nothing - but at least you have your ferrets. Even $1 helps!!!! If every person on the FB group and forum donated a single dollar, we could raise around $3k! Phae has helped us, now it's time to help her. Thank you Lisa for setting up the GoFundMe. Necropsy results aren't back so nothing is ruled in or out yet. All we really know right now is they aren't responding to treatment and they go down fast.

OMG that is horrible. I can't imagine. She must feel so helpless not knowing what the cause is or how to help them. I am not really one for praying but I am sending up prayers right now.
