hmmmm... hopefully it is just shedding season but its a very distinct pattern. His overall fur quality is not great, but on his lower back side hi fur is very long, sort of similar to what his winter coat is supposed to look like all over. Maybe he's just shedding and the adrenal is screwing with his natural patterns?
Anyway at this point I think he's getting DES in november, his DR. said she'd look into the recalls but hadn't heard anything about it. We may try melatonin pills at first to see if there's any effects on his fur and then we may order the implants for him. I really can't afford much else... one of my cats blew through my ER savings already a couple months ago and with student loan payments starting soon.... its a crappy situation.

You're in ON....if you need an implant I'm sure you can have Minion's...he's not going to need it I don't know what my vet charges but she's helped out others who needed an implant that wasn't available when they needed it. We always order in more than I need, just in case I need for a rescue. ciao

HOPEFULLY the implants they have in stock they bought prior to the recalled batch, but we'll find out soon enough. If it turns out their's are affected I will PM you about it.
