Thanks, yes Patricia text me. That's good to know about that vet. Yes I'm going to see what Dr. G has to say about all of this. His office is getting copies of my records from my vet. It's only been 6 months since he got a des implant. I'm hoping Dr. G can take care of that while I'm there.

Thanks!!
I took him into the vet Monday. The vet I took him to is very well known throughout the United States for being a wonderful ferret vet. My vet sent over all the records including x-rays she took last week. The xray says something is definitely going on with his prostate causing his pee problems. However, he doesn't actually do the ultrasounds. There is some ultrasound person and they have to come to the office. I have an appointment tomorrow morning to take Frisky back in for the ultrasound. Then we will go from there with treatment. And I will keep you posted.

Here's an update for everyone So I went back yesterday for the ultrasound. They called me a couple days ago with his blood test results and said that he has some kind of infection. The ultrasound showed that he has no stones and his prostate actually looks really good. Unfortunately he has an enlarged heart and is caused by him having cardiomyopathy. So now I have a third disease to add on to Frisky's illnesses. The vet believes his heart problems are causing the strain to pee. He's going to put Frisky on meds for this but it has to go through a special pharmacy that has to compound the medicine. He also saw something on his liver, so they took some blood from there and send it off to the lab. I should have those results back Monday and he believes that's where the infection is.
