As you all know my husband and I have quite a few already. This was my fault this time I asked about them over a month ago and said if they still had them I'd be happy to take them in. Meet the final additions. went to go pick them up and they were covered in poo and had daggers for nails. I thought to myself the whole way we really shouldn't but when I got there and he handed them over to me they clung to my shirt for dear life I could barely detach them from my shirt to put them in the travel cage. as we were standing there a small dog and very rambunctious children came running out. well these ferrets were terrorized lifting your hand sudden movements they will jump and run. its been 3 days now and they finally realized we aren't going to chase them. I feel like Taz maybe partially deaf he is extremely jumpy and a little odd he circles you he is the white one with burgundy eyes and the black tip. I was worried about age I didn't want all the same age and all medical problems to arise at once(thank you ferret vet fund) but these little ones are barely even a year old Taz does have half a fang missing severe cage rage even on the 30min ride home they don't know what to think about not being locked up in a cage. they took straight to soup and the wellness core kibble until I get my bulk arrangements lined up. here is one more picture of taz I feel like he may be wardy but he is incredibly hyper hasn't slowed down any yet.

Taz is a "marked DEW" so odds are he is totally deaf. They are both adorable and I will bet SO glad to be out of where they were.

I thought marked dew too but he has burgundy eyes like my 2 cinnamons. I'd say I'd give him a week and he might calm down but he just runs around the room dooking all the time. Sleep eat run and dook seriously it was room cleaning last night he ran through the whole house and didn't slow down one bit. Akiko calmed down some but it's like no stopping Taz it was incredibly difficult to trim his claws.

Final additions indeed! I don't buy that for a minute! LOL I'm so glad you got them out of there. In about a month they will be totally acclimated and will probably calm down a bit. Right now they are just so excited to be able to run around without being chased by dogs and kids they don't what to do with themselves.

Thank you for taking the wee ones in. They will settle down but it's going to take time. One of the rescues I did was from a situation involving children and it took them about 6 to 10 months to finally accept that they weren't going to be terrorized and they never did get over their hatred for children. They were wonderful with people, loved to be held, played with but would turn on children in a flash ciao

I believe you are correct I woke them up for soup this morning he didn't wake up when I knocked on the wall everyone else did. Once he calms and actually wants to held and doesn't freak out I have to check. The hubby let him out to romp around before we left and he doesn't hear you coming up behind him or if you snap your fingers. He would be my first deaf guy is their anything I can do to make things easier for him where he isn't so jumpy?
