I'm pretty sure one of Remus' canine teeth is going to have to come out--it's dead and looks to be getting dead-er (not sure how to explain--the white of the tooth is fading). I'm just wondering if anyone has any tips for caring for him afterward. Especially foodwise--with him being on raw I am concerned about the risk of infection. Should I step all the way back to soup until he's healed if the tooth comes out?

I would leave off the bone for a week, but otherwise there shouldn't be an issue.

I fed commercial grinds for a week with Odin. He didn't really care. I found him snuggled up with a quail quarter nomming away a couple of days after the surgery. He stole it from someone's cage. It didn't seem to be bothering him overly much ciao
