Maybe you could cook Paul his favorite supper and massage his feet or something. Be really really nice and when in doubt hit him with the pouty face!

I found the ferret massages work pretty well to get a rambunctious ferret to calm down. Even my paranoid ruby will sit for a few minutes if I rub her face and behind ears. It's not long, but it's better than nothing. I don't know Id do without my Pepe kisses and cuddles. I always know when he's mad at me though! He won't hold still for a minute.
And in agreeable on the cloud situation! Go get em and do a double intro. Your hubby won't even notice! Hehe
I have to admit I am in a pretty good place with ferret math. I got the bug BAD for a couple months and one turned into three and I feel rather complete. :0) a new kitten does help I guess lol

I actually have asked my mother if I could get another ferret, she said "Absolutely no more animals, at least not right now" and when I told her I meant around Christmas or early next year, she had no reply and changed the subject... so I'll take that as a yes :heehee: We aren't in a good financial situation right now, we all have to be registered for school which is almost $2,000, and I get adolescent cavities (I have like 8 of them) which are cavities that I can't prevent with brushing or flossing, they don't know why but a lot of teens get them, and so my dentist bills are up pretty high, we should be out of the hole of debt in about November though, so I may try asking her again then. But it is something that I'm serious about, I actually would like to get 2 kits, but I don't know if that will possible with money and all. I know I'm starting a savings account just for them. I've never had a kit (as I've mentioned many times haha) and if I have a chance to get them without worrying about possibly having to leave them behind in 7-8 years (when I get into actual Vet school) the time would be within the next 12 months. I'm sure that when I am struggling to feed myself during college, I don't want to have a bunch of ferrets that will be neglected attention or vet visits, and in 7-8 years, if I got a kit now, they would be elderly or passed away. Get my point? Haha I tend to think a lot at night, before I can sleep my brain goes over every thought, and that's what I come up with..

Have you gotten sealants on your teeth? That really helped me with cavities when I was younger.

One of our friend described having multiple ferrets like this
"Ferrets do not add, nor do they multiply. Ferrets are exponential. While one ferret requires the work and energy that one ferret would, two ferrets equals four for these purposes. Three is really nine, and so forth."

No I haven't heard of those. They're trying to fix them now, one almost hit a nerve. I can't eat caramel, honey, or or drink soda or I can feel my teeth eating each other... lol (shy)
I've heard that 4 ferrets can feel like more than it is.. I've had 3 at one time, but not 4 at one time. Especially not two new ones at one time. Bring it! haha

You guys are all such naughty enablers :angrymob:
I only have two floors. Right now, if we bring Cloud home and Keller continues her antics, Roamy goes on attack, and Juliet is a puzzle now. Where the heck will I put Cloud?
Paul would be so mad, that he and Cloud would probably move into the barn. (giggle)

I still think Cloud would act as a diversion.

I'm biding my time. Paul's mom is very sick and now my Mom has a medical issue coming up. If we have to make a trip to Florida, I plan on detouring thru Alabama. However right now, this whole intro is so disrupting, I'm not sure that I have the energy for one more. And my little Cloud deserves the best.

My such a group of enablers. Cloud is a very mellow people centered kind of guy. Plays well with others. He would happily hang out with Paul in the barn. I can't say much. I went to get 2 jill babies with a bit of poley blood & ended up with 2 jills & a hob-2 with a lot of poley blood.

Jeremy's BoggleWhen you get a chance would you post a picture of Cloud? I know everyone would love to see him. You have to tell that funny story about him trying to get your attention. I want the little fellow to find a home, and if someone here can bring him home before I can, then all the better for Cloud. I can live vicariously thru their posts and Luck in having Cloud at their home.

Hey, if anyone has a kit that needs a home I'll take it! I'll cross the border if need be, I just need time to get a big enough box... hehe And yes, we would love to see a picture! And, I think Cloud would be just fine in the barn with Paul for a little while
