I had totally forgotten that I had posted on craigslist awhile back that I was looking to adopt a ferret until last week when I got an email from a family who needed to rehome their 8 month old boy. They were looking for a good forever home for him. I actually loved that they asked so many questions. I think it's really sad when people have to rehome their pets but i HATE when it seems like they are just selling them on craigslist, or throwing them away... This family REALLY put the time and effort into finding him the perfect home. So kudos to them for that.
We finally got the chance to drive down to meet him today and ahhhhh he is such a mush! He is a HUGE dopey lovey boy and he's already stolen our hearts. He got to play with Icky for awhile and they had SO much fun. No noises other than dooking, no biting. Just a lot of tumbling ferrets. They gave us his cage, which is way too small for him but I'm going to have him sleep in it at least for tonight so we can do one more day of introductions before he's free roam with Icky JUST TO BE ON THE SAFE SIDE, but I think they are going to be great together. They were feeding him Marshalls but we're going to start trying soupie tomorrow morning so fingers crossed he loves raw as much as his brother. I know he's already 8 months (looks bigger to me?) so he might be a little difficult but I'm not worried.
I'm done rambling now, meet Ollie!!!!! Our big lovable doof.
I'll get some better photos tomorrow and hopefully some videos of him and Icarus playing. These pics don't due his HIGE girth justice. He's pretty... obese lol
Also, I have to add this random picture of lamb kidney because my husband won't shut up about it. He's VERY proud of himself because he went to the store alone today and found kidneys for 50 cents and thinks he's now the organ lord or something haha He keeps saying "did you tell them I found kidneys for fifty cents? LAMB KIDNEYS!?" lol So I'm going to appease him...
