Has anyone recently used the children's mylanta to soothe their ferrets bellie ache? I wanted to make sure no ingredients have changed in it lately. Any assistance would be great! Thank you

Better to go to the vet and discover WHY the stomach is aching.

What's going on with Zoe? Why do you think her tummy hurts? Like Sherry said, a vet visit is probably in order, especially with her being so young. How is her poop? Are her ears, nose and paws, nice and pink. I know you have two other ferrets, so you probably already know what to look for. I've never given a ferret Mylanta, so I can't help you with any advice on that product. I'm sure that you already know to avoid anything with acetaminophen.

I would be looking as to why my wee one had a belly ache before covering it up with an antacid. A vet visit before applying human meds to your ferrets ciao

Hi all, I apologize for the delayed response, my email is supposed to notify me when someone replies to my posts but it never did! Anyways here is an update: My question referred to my oldest boy Shift, he appeared to have some sort of GI infection and was taken to the vet. He is on meds now and doing much better! Thank you everyone for your replies and concerns!

Good, I'm glad to hear that he is feeling better. Give your boy, Shift a "Get Well Soon" hug from me, and one for Zoe too.

Oh good! Glad he is doing well Sounds like he may have had a simple bacterial overgrowth then.
