Blood in poop (when it actually comes out) but hes having a really hard time, and i can tell bes in pain. Any suggestions? If i can avoid paying a huge bill, i will. Yes hes starting to get a bit old but i have a feeling hes got more in him!!! And everything is closed including the vet we have done pumpkin

Put your hopes away about avoiding a bill, because blood in poop is a definite reason to get the ferret to the vet. It’s very concerning. Is it dark red or bright red? The brighter the “better” because it could be a scratch or cut near the anus. Darker blood will be coming from higher up in the intestines. Black blood will be coming from the stomach. Keep feeding pumpkin until you get to the vet to help surround and move along any blockages unless there’s puking.
