I know that when switching to raw from kibble some strange poops are normal. How long should this be considered normal? She had diarrhea when I first got her and was just getting to have solid poops and now she has diarrhea again. And it is super strange looking (kind of yellowish with solid black globs. Looks sort of like diarrhea and normal poop at the same time).
I just want to know when I should be concerned about this.
Is there anything I can do to help? She is eating chicken drummettes right now (1-2 per day). I wanted to do one type of meat for a few days just to see how she reacted to it. She loves it! I also offer her Marshalls food but I don't think she eats it. I haven't seen her eat it. I gave some ferret-vite today (which she ate) and offered soup which she didn't want.

If she's only eating meat her stools are going to be very loose. She needs bone or at least some powdered egg shell. If she's eating both kibble and meats then she probably has a bit of a tummy upset ciao

I leave her the bones but she won't eat them. I'm going to get some more meat tomorrow to try. Am I right in thinking only offer one new type of meat every couple of days? Or is it one type of protein every few days? (Ex. Since she has eaten chicken is it safe to assume ALL parts of chicken are okay or do I need to try each part/organ separately?) As for the clumps, after my son went to bed I was able to inspect the poop. (I figured digging through ferret was NOT a habit I want him to adopt!) The clumps are the pieces of fabric she ate and is now passing Hopefully the bones will stop her from eating fabric....

Get some pure pumpkin and give her a tsp of that a day for 3-4 days to push out the rest of the fabric. That should hopefully prevent a blockage. With the meat she can't handle that size bone yet. Think more ribs or wing tips or necks well chopped up. It is like lifting weights. You don't start with bench pressing your own body weight as you simply don't have the required muscles. Same think with ferrets crunching bones. They need to build up to it.
