Hi everyone, sorry if this has been discussed already, feel free to just point me to the right thread... Anyhow, i wondered how you all deal with feeding multiple ferrets, we plan on having 2-3 and I'm wondering how you make sure each ferret gets enough? I was checking out the feeding dens and that looks awesome and if i understand, you begin feeding raw by hand feeding/spoon feeding. But what about later when they eat on their own? Are you able to put what you know they should eat at a meal in their cage/den and leave them to it or should you always be present for meals to make sure everyone eats? Thanks!

Once they eat on their own you just leave them to it. That's assuming ALL of them are eating reliably and maintaining a healthy weight. But I feed 5, one dish, as much as they will eat in a meal. It's a little bit of trial and error to find out how much a group eats, but generally there should be a piece or two left over from each meal.

I do the same here. This is the reason I give a single protein/organ etc in a meal. That way no one can just pick out what they prefer

I'm presently feeding 9 +3. Once they're eating reliably and healthy then you just let them eat. Scales are absolutely necessary though as being weighed in should be as automatic as cutting their nails. ciao
