I found out about raw feeding on dogsey.com As you can guess they are a dog forum but also have a cat forum catsey and have a raw section on each. They helped me learn the basics and gave me the confidence to change my dogs diet.

Hmmm...
Does anybody know of a great Hamster natural diet? I already feed him rose petals as a treat, but it would be cool to know what else I can do! I am buying him a $200+/- (dep on where I get it from) condo, and want to include adorable mini edible plants so it really looks like a condo :3
Also, my hamster from years back would eat chicken... is this good for them?

The hamster forum I usually go on is hamstercentral.com there isn't usually much in the way of discussing homemade/natural diets but I got a bit of information of there. The base of my homemade diet came from gerbilforum.proboards.com and then I made a few slight changes for my dwarf hamsters, my syrian is on a pelleted brand of food mostly and then has some of the gerbils mix but with some extra fatty stuff as she is very slim. I can send you a PM of what I put in, but I'd rather not advertise it as I worked it out myself and there is much less information out there than there is for cats and dogs, so it could be off.

Well, any information you send me couldn't hurt, as I can use it to start as a foundation for my lil guy :3
Currently I have him on a bag mix of seeds and bits of corn, but I want to give him a full rounded diet <3

Does anyone know if the soupie is good for dogs (chicken, liver, cow heart, eggshell) Mom moms pom has a collapsed trachea and is having issues swallowing her food. Shes been to the vet and is on meds, but I thought the soupie might be good for her too since it can be thinned down and drank if needed.

Raw soup would be perfect for dogs. As for the vegetable matter... its probably best left out since Dog's are naturally carnivores. (http://rawfed.com/myths/omnivores.html)

Our dog took to raw instantly. We are now a no kibble household! Now I just need to figure out what to do with $50 worth of kibble

Anyone know if a dog can eat a raw chicken thigh bone safely? Yes they can Just make sure that the entire thing cannot be swallowed whole in one piece. Dog's gulp so for edible bone you want something they need to chew. As for your other question about the kibble- donate it.

Yeah giving the kibble to my mom.
I may have to find a new vet though. Just took my dog in for his yearly and they are not very supportive of raw.

My vet is not a fan of raw either. But then she has seen it done wrong far too many times. However her skill with ferrets is amazing, so I stay with that clinic.
