Such a good momma putting all her little wanderers back where they belong. Hehe She is going to have her paws full soon when they really start cruising! As will you! So fun! (dance) Man can you imagine having to take care of 9 babies instead of just one?? Thank heavens multiplets aren't the "norm" in humans! Granted fuzzy babies grow up so much faster than the skin type do...

The first year I watched ferret nesting cam live, Alice and Poppy (Carol then)came running when they heard meeping.
Heather, I was actually going to ask for some new pics today. They are lovely. How is Tico doing? Has he met his progeny yet?

Ha...beat you to it lol. Tico has not met his wee ones and probably never will. He's a sh*thead and a studly pain. He lives by himself for most of the year because he's so full of himself. He has heavy level of polecat and is not exactly into "sharing" space with others. He loves his Lady Morgain (it's only because she beats him into submission)and shares living space with her. Most of the time he lives up to his polecat heritage and lives solo. ciao

Oh my Goodness, those babies are cute! I love the little noises! It's too bad they don't keep the gray coloration, it is lovely. I can relate to your story though, these animals steal our hearts and are not here long enough or end up suffering from horrible disease. It is heart breaking. I know having a 'breeder' or heritage from the wild doesn't guarantee anything, but dang is it nice to think about the extra years we may have with these amazing critters. Congrats on these lovely little ones!

OMG! They're so CUTE!!! I can see why you are smitten. And with beautiful parents like those, I'll bet they're going to be gorgeous fuzzies!

They are little heartbreakers! They are just so adorable and listen to those lungs The 2 kits I'm getting were born on the 11th and I love watching them grow and get so excited over baby updates

I'm assuming that by now you've discovered that all you have to do to teach them about "food" is put a plate of diced meat or a few pinkies down and run for your life.
