My guys eat Feline Natural reconstituted raw diet, but the cat version has chicken and I want to try getting my IBD guy off chicken to see if it improves his IBD. The other version is beef, but it is for dogs so it has no taurine.
Is there anywhere reliable online where I can buy taurine to add to the soup? I haven't used it before in ferrets and I am not sure where to get it or how much to use.
Thanks!

Thanks so much - I managed to find a supplier for taurine in my country and have ordered some today and also bought lamb diet. Hopefully that will make a big change. He still has some dry food, but not very much, so I will put almost a full amount of taurine in it.

Does the Taurine supplement need to be specifically made for cats/ferrets? There are a few on amazon that are for humans and I wasnt sure if there was a big difference!

go to www.ebay.com and put taurine in the search and the pet supplies category. I found it pretty cheap.

I found taurine capsules at a regular human health food store. That was nice because I knew how much was in each capsule and it made it easy to give Remus the right amount per day.

If you have a supplement store near-by for weightlifters they often have it.
