When Mika came home, I started singing "Carolina in the morning" to her. I changed it to "Nothing could be sweeter than to see a little Mika in the Morning". This is Mika but I moved the picture. She is in my signature though. And this is her theme song: Then Wynstan came along. He is super goofy and we found ourselves singing Laurel and Hardy's Dance of the Cuckoo, when he would walk into a room. This is Wynstan: And this is Laurel and Hardy and the Dance of the Cuckoos: So, Does anyone else have a Theme Song for their ferrets?

All my animals do eventually end up with a theme song. It's usually something I already have but when I hear it it keeps reminding me of whoever and so it becomes their theme song. Always worry about copyright, so won't chase them up but will list those ones that come to mind. I don't always know why a song becomes the song for whoever claims it in my mind.
My Spooky dog's song was Why Can't We Be Happy? by Joan Jett (she is a favourite, so it's always more likely that they will end up with one of her songs).
Wizard's (cat) song is Joan Jett's version of Crimson and Clover.
Now to ferrets...
Generic song for all the ferrets (and sometimes other animals) who are no longer part of my lives is either the Bay City Rollers Dedication or ABBA's Hasta Manana.
My beloved Slubber's song is Belinda Carlisle's Summer Rain.
Sumo's song is Ben Taylor's I Will. this song is actually different in that it wasn't one I already had. I kept having it go through my head when he was having his lag drama. I then went in to Sanity Records to try and track it down, didn't even know what it was called, let alone who it was by. I sang a bit and they found out it was a Beatles song called I Will (which I never would have guessed as the title). They only had it on a double CD and there was no other song on it I liked, so wasn't paying all that for one song. So even though (being an old stick in the mud) I always like a hard copy I went online. Searching I discovered the version I liked was by Ben Taylor (it comes from the movie Bye Bye Love). So now my MP3 player has a copy on it.
Diablo's song is Cher's Turn Back Time.
Rocket's song is the Bay City Rollers version of I Only Want To Be With You.
Jester's song hasn't come to me yet.
There are other's but those are the ones that I can remember at the moment.
Oh and I do sing a version of Jingle Bells using Jelly Bean instead

That is so funny that you put the Tigger song. If I have a theme song, that is my song. When I was young I used do a dance to it (which I can still mostly do) and it is the ringtone on my phone...also I collect Tiggers, they are supposed to be only in one room but you can't go in to a room in my house without there being at least one Tigger item

I don't have a theme song as much as I have a character from Disney's Cinderella..... Gus is named after Gus Gus the mouse and acts just like him too .... and Disney's Pixie Hollow inspired Pixie's name as she is into EVERYTHING and is FAST FAST.... LOL

Tigger should have been a ferret, not a tiger!

I love that you all have Theme songs. I thought you guys would think that I was being silly. I should have known that Ferret people would understand. Bitbyter, I love Tigger. I wanted to name Wynstan, Tigger. If I had remembered the song, he would be a Tigger. Therese, I also wonder how a song becomes theirs...And the love of Tiggers, well Great Minds think Alike. LadyZinn, I remember the Cinderella movie and GusGus. Still my all time favorite Disney movie.

I put ferrets in the Tigger song after I the first time I saw one war dance off the edge of the bed and run off. The only other song I sing is "Where have all the ferrets gone?" (old folk standard "Where have all the flowers gone?) when I gather them up for bed.
Almost forgot, I''ve been singing Really Rosa (from Carol King's Really Rosie cartoon in the 70s)

I guess it would be the song the mice sing in Cinderella... The one where they sing about helping her... Gus Gus the mouse sings in it and I can imagine my Gussy singing it... LMAO

I use to have a song for each ferret. Now with our newest bunch I only have a couple. Fungo Squiggley gets "Hey Fungo! The Fungo Italiano!"
Then Shiro gets "Oh! Oh Shiro!"
Roxy gets a Rob Zombie song. Instead of "Foxy foxy", I will sing "Roxy, Roxy!" Or I'll even go with Jimi Hendrix's "Foxy" & well, change it to Roxy.

This is Koda's theme song... Kenai doesn't really have his own song, but I include him in Koda's even though that was Koda's song before Kenai came along.

My Didi (DIP) ran to me while I was squatting on the floor singing a phrase of this song. It touched my heart so---I will never forget it. I think she knew I was doing something special for her. Of course, I sung it a little slower.
She also came around the corner and stood still for a few seconds, once while I was playing a Native American cd. It was a melody that featured the pan flute .

As an update: Jester does have a song, well kind of two. I often call him Jezzie as a nick name and will on occasion sing an altered version of Jessie's girl to him....lyrics being this kind of thing..."I wish that I was Jezzie's girl, I wish that I was Jezzie's girl, where can I find a ferret like that...". His actual song though (ie. the one that when I hear it I consider it his song) is Divine's, "So You Think You're a Man"
