ook Rosa in to get her ear checked, and the vet agrees it's probably a tumor. Can't tell what type w/o biopsy. She also had mites in that ear, so all the fuzzballs got treated for mites when we got home. Her growth was originally only on the outside of her ear, but the mite treatment caused her to scratch at it. Now it has popped out to the tip, and the end of it looks disturbingly like Booboo's. We plan to have it removed, but Jaffa's implant is on order and that will come first. We're also leery of even messing with it after what Booboo went through. The plan would be to shorten her ear by the width of the tumor plus a few mm. At the vet We brought Pandy along for the ride. Rosa was so worked up they didn't get her temp, but her weight hasn't changed since we got her and everything else looked ok.

You could try to do daily cleanses with colloidal silver. we did this to a growth that our dog had on her paw and within 2 weeks it started shrinking, and after a month it was totally gone. The vet wanted to remove her entire digit on her paw. I am glad we did not do it cause that was 4 years ago and it has never came back.
could not hurt and since your waiting anyway you could try it.

What form did you use? Liquid or cream?

I used liquid. But I think the cream would stay on longer and probably work better.

Uncle joe- have you tried reishi mushroom with her? Frodo is also very prone to mast cell tumours. Having him on a rotation of 2 weeks on 1 off seems to have helped a lot.

As you know she's only been with us a month. Her shelter mom said she's had it for a while, and there are none anywhere else on her. I'm going to start her on silver today. We've read several articles on it and it appears to be an old wonder drug good for many things, from preserving food to sterilizing surfaces, to antibiotic and deodorizing properties. It's non toxic, and can be effective against some 650 common disease organisms.

Make sure to only use it on a rotation as well, or it becomes ineffective. No more than 14 days at one time, same as an antibiotic

according to our research, it does not. And we'll be using it topically. Apparently it works by a different chemical process than antibiotics so affected organisms don't build up immunity. Looks like we'll have to wait a day or two, as walgreen doesn't have it and GNC is pretty pricey.

ordered colloidal silver. 8 0z. 30 ppm was $37 at the health food store. 8 oz. of 50 ppm was 10.99 plus $5 shipping on amazon. I hope it's good stuff.
I should order a tester too, because we plan to make our own eventually,

I know that it states that CS doesn't work the same way as an antibiotic and that you cannot develop an immunity but it does. I've known people who've used this product extensively. Used correctly and with caution it will do a lot of what it claims to do. Used like a supplement, it will eventually have the same effect as bath water with some really nasty side effects (well if you consistently drink bath water it too will have nasty side effects ) It does work and is very effective but not if used all the time. ciao

Pandora had a pretty similar looking tumor we had taken off in Nov, unfortunately right afterwards she popped up with another worse one on her face and a small different one on her tail. Tried reishi but it didn't have any effect.
