Wow! That's such a great progress with George He figured out what was best for him all on his own Mine have just started recognizing eggs as "non-poison" couple of days ago

Yeah, eggs are an issue with mine. They seem to like quails eggs though, which is good. At least they are ferret sized haha

Tried them both on quail eggs today as they weren't interested in standard eggs at all, and I have to say thy were a hit! Also here's a cute picture of myself and the beautiful George... I noticed that gave it to them with the shell, they break it open themselves? Are the eggshell bits not dangerous for them ingesting a bigger piece?

They don't really eat the shell. I've found they don't really like it if I just give them the insides.
