I have had no freeze ups. I just clicked the link using Google Chrome - it loaded 600+ posts with little difficulty. I repeated using IE, and it did take a significant more amount of time to load, but it loaded 700+ posts still. Like I stated earlier, the issue could be due to a variety of things. How often do you do a full restart of your computer? How often do you close your broswers completely? Have you tried using a different browser and had similar results on the same system?
If anyone else is experiencing an issue with browser freezing, lock-ups, crashing, etc. Please post:

I just tried this on FF with no problems. Mind you, it was only 126 posts.

both computers are shut down daily. the one at home i do leave up/running over the weekends tho.
the errors happened when the computer (s) had just been turned on, so, memory issue wouldn't apply.
i'm on a dozen dif pro-boards forums and they all have some kind of funkiness. it's mostly a proboards issue rather than a browser issue. some have the same/similar issues and some are completely unique to just that one board.
it's been that way for at least 10 years (so, goes back to win95 and whatever browser versions were available back then). so, it's mostly a pro-boards issue. if this is fixable and works for everyone, great. if the extra doohickey doesn't work for me for some reason, i'll deal. so, don't drive yourself crazy with it, jackie!!
