So I return home Monday from work, and Merlin's poop is "normal". Somewhat firm, and no smell!! I'm happy but want to get off this horrible ride!
I have done something on my own, and want your input, please. I put him back on Kefir twice daily about 1.5 weeks ago. I upped the dosage from .50 to .75ml. I give it to him approximately 5 minutes before a meal. Hermes drinks his from his plate!! He loves it. I have also tried giving them both Winn-Dixie plain greek yogurt with all the good live cultures. Hermes loves it, Merlin has to have it syringed.
Weighed them last night. Both are right at 2.50 lbs. Merlin has gained approx. 1/4 lb. Hermes is holding pretty steady.

It is fine to use the kefir. Just give it a break once in a while. So you are still having issues with Merlin's poop?

Sorry, guys..... got sidetracked. Congratulations (dance). you've graduated and you're ready to walk this path alone, now (wave) . You have the foundation to help you feed your fuzzes in a more natural and healthy manner. Please remember that your learning never stops, and dietary needs change from ferret to ferret and throughout each their lives. I would also like you to be aware that though you now have the capability and the knowledge to create your little ones diets you are never alone and that your mentor (you need only pm) is always available to you. The list is also a very good resource and you should always be aware that it's available to answer any questions you may have either about diet or care. Good luck, in a few days either Sherry or I will lock down this thread but be aware that you can always look through it as a reference tool but you just will not be able to post to it. Your mentor will be in to congratulate you shortly (wave) . ciao
