It's up to you. I find it so much easier to be able to just toss in a whole wing, or even segmented, for them

Okay, best way to start is with muscle meats. Make the pieces longer but still same size around as now. You might also just wind up having to do some "tough love" with them.

I ordered the Merrick's Texas Hold 'Ems Lamb Lung .... I broke some pieces apart and they wanted NOTHING to do with it..... I tried to entice them and they were having none of it... do you have any suggestions as to how I can get them interested in eating it?
I am cutting there meat in longer thin strips.... so far ... we are good.... how long should I do this before I start increasing size and get them to eat quarter size pieces of meat?

With the lamb lung, try breaking it up and soaking it with the meat they like the most so it absorbs the juices. It will be messy feeding that way, but should get them accepting it. For increasing size, once they accept what they are given increase. If they balk go back a step and increase a smaller amount.

I can NOT get my ferrets to like this Merrick's Lamb's Lung for anything...... I tried soaking it in blood of different proteins....... and they are not having any of it.... Any suggestions?
Also..... Am I doing harm in giving them a 1/2 a tsp of Keifer once to twice a week?
Otherwise we are doing good on our meat consumption.... I now have there meat size up to nickel size pieces..... trying to work up to quarter size pieces......
I did see Pig stomach..... but isn't that just another muscle and not an organ.....
I found a place that has goat for $5.00 a lb.... I will try and get some and see if they like it.....

Silly stubborn brats! Leave off with the lung for now then. Just add an extra 1/2 meal of liver for now then. And an organ is anything that secretes, which stomach does. The question is- has it been bleached?

Oh sorry- missed the kefir one. Let me get back to you on that. I only use it after antibiotics. If the stomach is bleached it will be white.

The Pumpkin & Vaseline thing really worked for Waffle..... Thanks for all that...... everyone seems to be doing good except that they have been very coughy coughin...... I am sure it is because they are shedding and getting in there new coat...... I was wondering.... what to you use for hairball treatment? I don't usually use pumpkin per what you said but only for emergencies..... I don't know what to use .... I give one egg yolk for all 3 ferrets once to twice a week...... I thought that was suppose to take care of it..... but it hasn't been working and I don't want to go buy hairball treatment for them as all the crap in it....lol
They are now eating 3/4of there meal with quarter size pieces and the other 1/4 with nickel size pieces.....

They'll need an egg yolk each a couple times a week during shed That should sort them out. Start increasing sizes very slightly every 2nd or 3rd day now until you get up to pieces the size of adult mice, or the wings segmented.

Question about Waffle.... is it normal for her to lose a little weight like she has since the gagging and throwing up episode? She seems to be eating ok..... prefers things pureed .... I chalked this up to maybe a little sore throat from gagging....??..... Not sure.... what are your thoughts?
I have been increasing the size of meat every few days..... been going ok so far......
Can you point me in the right direction to the ferret emergency kit items so I might make sure I have everything I need..... Hope all is well with you... TTYL
