my two young ones Tilly and Shadow are now eating chicken wings. Jack who was being good about eating the soup has not been eating it as well. rollo and milo are still my tough ones but they will eat soup sometimes if i make them still not on their own. I got some buffalo meat to work into their soup too.

That's great, it sounds like they are slowly making progress. Does Jack like baby food or anything you could mix in it a little to entice him? Old boy needs to eat. Was he adrenal/sick? Could be he's not feeling well and not as hungry. I find that having them all trapped in a small area together with the soup when they're hungry can be persuasive to eating soup on their own, particularly if the other ferrets are doing it. Ferrets seem to be like people- they like to fit in, and be part of the group. Sometimes they seem unhappy or anxious when they're missing out on something the group is doing and they'll come around and join in.

I have not tried baby food yet. I will feed them the soup in a smaller area. Jack was eating the soup so not sure why he stopped. He is one that is important to get off kibble because he likes to jam kibble into the water bottle spout and clogs it so then no one can get water. I makes me wonder if something is wrong with his teeth i do not see anything but he seems to like to make his food soft so you would think he would not stop eating the soup.

It could be his teeth hurt and kibble especially was causing him pain. What color are his teeth, have they ever been cleaned by a vet, do you brush them etc? Ferrets that have lived a while eating kibble and do not get RMB or tooth brushings regularly need a professional cleaning on occasion. He could have an infection, a bad tooth, something caught in between his teeth, a mouth ulcer... any number of things.
I usually tag team the ferret with two people- one to scruff and dangle and help hold the mouth open while the other gets in there with a flash light and looks, maybe using a q tip or something to gently poke around for sore spots. Look for red or white spots on the roof of his mouth or back of his throat, red is generally ulcers while white can be abscesses or cold sore like things.
Possibly try warming his food and water up- you'd be surprised what that can do! Just don't microwave raw with bones, it can make them brittle and dangerous. Generally I'll mix cold raw with hot water to make warm soup. Warm water also is attractive to a sick or stuffed up ferret, or a ferret with ulcers.
Have you considered using lock on crocs or heavy dishes for water? Bottles aren't really ideal.

I will have to look deep in his mouth i can open it myself and see the front ones really well. I have not had Jack very long he is a rescue so he did see a vet but they did not say anything about his mouth not sure he looked besides the canines. I have not used a lock on crock for water. I uses it for food. They dig in the water if i put it in a bowl. I guess I can try it with jack because I do not think milo does and those two are together my other three have the top two story's of a ferret nation. I have to separated them because Milo another rescue does not seem like he learned how to play with others. He bites and shakes really hard on my other ones. I have to let them out of the cage in sets too it is a pain in the butt but do not want anyone to get hurt.

I had that problem myself for a couple of months. My alpha didn't like new kits all of a sudden, I had to wait 2-3 months until they got big enough to fend for themselves before I could let them play together safely.

I just think that Milo learned to play right. He is just grabs and shacks and chases the little ones I think he is trying to play with them but I do not think he likes my older male. He goes after him not in a playful way. Maybe one day they will all get along and also all eat raw food. I still give kibble in the morning because I am afraid for Milo and Jack they do not seem to eat the soup anymore well Milo never did but Jack would but he seems to have gone backwards.

Sometimes they do seem to revert back a step, try going to square one- crush up some kibble and make a soup with just the mashed kibble, see if the stubborn ones will eat that, and gradually add raw meat into the mix.
