Do you drink any soda/pop? If so, cut it out! I lost several pounds just by doing so!

Libby! Don't worry so much about aging I'm 55 now and loving it! Psychologically there is a certain "freeing" from societal expectations once you hit 40. Woman- you are in the prime of your life

Wow! I wish I had the patience to process my hair to that level of blonde! Instead I just lighten it a few shades to a coppery yellow before dyeing over it with pink or purple. I recently dyed my hair again this past month as well not a huge difference though, I just added more purple and changed the gradient a bit.

Reds and purples are the hardest colors to get out. I went from a very bright, very vibrant red to the yellow-e orange-e blond first. This change only took one, 45 minute process with 40 vol. (it fried pretty bad. I normally use 30 vol) My hair is not normally that frizzy. I ended up chopping most of the still red/orange bits off of my hair to achieve this blond. The purple didn't come all the way out of my bangs, so I will have to do one more bleaching in a few weeks before I can dye it for our trip. I will also have to custom make my colors, as nowhere sells "sea foam blue" or "sea foam green" though I totally think they should!
Also, I love your hair!
And Libby, you do not look 42.i had to re-read and make sure I had read the number right twice!

Yay more pics! LadyZin, you don't look old enough for a granddaughter , she is adorable! Melissa, I love your hair! Violet, I love the gradient! Do you do it yourself?
Sherry, mrs. Sherry! You don't look 55, I never in a million years would have guessed your age! It isn't the aging that bothers me its the extra weight, I am 5'2" and 140 lbs, I have never been this chubby and I hardly eat which of course is part of the problem, my metabolism is at a near stand still. I don't drink soda or sugary drinks. My Dr actually said that I need to eat more through out the day to speed my metabolism back up which will at first likely mean even more of a weight gain. Any way I am rambling lol

Melissa, have you heard of special effects or adore? I use special effects, and I'm pretty sure one of those brands have some sort of sea foam color if I remember correctly. You do have to order them online most of the time though. Thanks Libby I did do it myself. I've been the only person to change my hair for the past two years. I cut it, dye it, bleach it, etc. I'm not a fan of people messing with my hair lol

There's also punky colours/directions and pravana but that one might be a salon only supplier, I'm not too sure. If you have a Sally beauty supply near you they have their new Ion vibrant brights line as well as a pastel line, I use their fuschia and magenta colors in the brights line and they work Great. I think they should have a pastel Green and blue that could work to make a nice seafoam hue.
