ok sorry if I'm daft. We give the oils orally or topically? For immediate relief, can I just rub some EVOO on my babies? (are we marinating the ferrets? LOL)
My adrenal boy is sooooooooooo itchy. They're all a little, given that they're putting on their winter coats right now, but poor Rufus is scratching scratching scratching all day long.
If an EVOO massage will help him, I will go get it right now and rub him all over his itchy spots.

Orally And for your adrenal boy get some reishi mushroom capsules. Give 1/4 capsule per ferret daily on a pulse therapy of two weeks on and one off. That helps SO much with the adrenal itchies

Tea tree oil should never be used on ferrets or cats. It is an essential oil and is very toxic to them. It's shedding season. Mine are all also more itchy than usual. I don't do anything for them except give them fish oil and egg.
Wow hadn't realized this had 3 pages haha. Forgive me if what I said had already been said numerous times!

That helps SO much with the adrenal itchies Hi Sherry, Thanks! Any recommended brands? Amazon, of course, has about 100 to choose from. When I get them, I open the capsule up and mix it with food or use a medicine dropper to inject it into their mouths?
