I'm beginning to wish that I had learned to knit or crochet ;D. I could save a lot of money by doing my own crochet eggs (US shipping is killing me ). I would love to get some eggs with tails....I think my guys would love the mice eggs ;D Are there videos to teach people how to crochet?? ciao

I don't really know how to do much more then a single and double stitch, but luckily my mom is a crocheting guru!

Those are pretty cool. Wish I could crochet. Don't we have a new member (derbyeggmaker) who does this as a business?

This is cool!! I don't know how to follow a pattern but I've crocheted lots of blankets for my boys. The last one I finished has Kyle's name on it that I made when he was in the hospital. I was up all night worrying about him. I'm going to try these out though. Thanks!

I have some cute cotton yarn I may have to try these with. I really want to make some eggies, but have to find some eggs to encase first! Another couple months and they'll hit the stores. Yay!

A few years ago I picked up 2 boxes at Wal Mart after Easter for 4$ each (reg.$14.95) 250 eggs per box. The next year my daughter picked me up a couple more for 4 or 5$. That price is pretty good for around here

I love to crochet and I have been experimenting with making thinks with recycled t-shirt yarn since I go through so many. So far I have made a basket like bed and this tunnel which I think I might hang from the top of the cage like a sleeping tube. All I did was make a chain long enough that when it is joined into a circle it's wide enough for my ferret to crawl through. Then double crochet in each chain for as many rows as I had yarn for. I bet it would work for connecting levels as well if it's hung on the side of a cage.
