A myth: "Raw bones will cut my ferret's digestive tract" A FAQ: "What makes raw bones safe to feed when cooked bones are so dangerous?" That was one of my biggest concerns when I was a naive raw newbie anyways

LOL Kibble IS made for a reason, just not the reason people think it's made for. $$$

raw food isn't balanced.
I feed kibble that cleans teeth (I don't need raw)
ferrets have adapted to cooked (kibble) diets (also kibble is safe)
raw isn't digestible..
'I tried feeding raw, and my ferret doesn't like it'
'in the wild, ferret's(or weasles) lifes are shorter due to raw diets'
Most of these I used ferret instead of dog, but these are a LOT of things I've heard that haven't been said yet.

"My vet says raw food is bad for ferrets and vets know everything when it comes to nutrition"
Q: Why don't vets support raw diets if they are so good for ferrets?
(A: because kibble companies sponsor the nutrition courses at most Veterinary schools - this makes me so mad!)
