Anyone on Wysong's mailing list will have seen the free 12-pack of venison Au Jus with any order you place over the phone. I thought what the heck, I'm out of dry stuff for emergencies anyway. Turns out you can get as many cases as you want... shipping only goes up about three bucks per case over the initial shipping rate! So I ordered four cases of Au Jus for about $30 to my zip code That's less than the regular price of ONE case... They're giving it away because it "expires" in October... between the dogs and cats, it certainly won't last that long in our house. So if anyone else can use the Venison variety in the next few months, this could be a great time to stock up.

Oh wow! What a great deal! Do you have to buy anything, or can you just get the Au Jus?

When you think of it- it's amazing that Wysong's actually will do this! Most companies would simply trash it, or at the least offer it on discount, and write it off

I just ordered a bag of the large chicken dream treats + 3 cases of the au jus for $35.53 Even if my cats wont eat it (I'm pretty sure my feral Charlie will), I can donate it to a rescue and everyone wins

Depends on what you are feeding it to, my 40-60 pound dogs would easily eat a can a day, but it's not a balanced diet so don't feed it solely. You could probably feed it for quite a while before issues arise but personally I plan to feed a can or two a week as a boneless meal to my raw fed dog, it's cooked but I don't think she'll mind, I'm almost out of raw venison anyways and hunting season is a long time away. Either that or it will be used as kibble topper and kong filler.
